A stable social structure, attractive amenities nearby and a pleasant living environment are important factors in building long-term tenant relationships. Both sides benefit - the cities and towns in which our residential properties are located, and of course we as the operator.

So in recent years, we have been renovating and modernizing a large part of our portfolio under the motto "Blue Living", with a clear emphasis on enhancing energy efficiency. This significantly reduces tenants' subsidiary costs and represents a sustained contribution to a cleaner environment. For our tenants in Elmshorn, we also concluded a district heating contract that reduces the heating costs in the renovated, energy-saving flats by a further considerable amount. Renovation projects have also been carried out in our portfolios for Salzgitter, Geilenkirchen and the eastern German locations.

The high demand and strong letting rates for these residential units are a clear affirmation of our sustainable living strategy.
